Accomplishments: Former Delegate for the National Summit On Africa (NSOA) and co-founder of the Georgia Africa Society (GAS); worked as a delegate with Ambassador Andy Young to get the AGOA (Africa Growth & Opportunity Act) passed in 2000 during President Bill Clinton’s administration. NSOA & GAS Objectives are to: Provide information and education about Africa to all Americans through research, writing, and seminars.
