Dr. Erica Bass Flimmons

Professional Summary
Dr. Erica Bass-Flimmons received her PhD in May 2017 in Instructional Design and Technology (ID&T) with certificates in Public Health and International Education from Georgia State University. She completed her MS degree in ID&T at Georgia State University and her BS degree in Marketing from Tennessee State University. Dr. Erica Bass-Flimmons, an innovator, supporter, and elearning tech designer for millennials and experts at large. Erica helps individuals and organizations integrate technology in a changing tech market and is a supporter of socially conscious ventures. Her career spans over being an expert as an instructional designer specifically focused on online learning. Her Ph.D. concentrates on the practical uses of mobile training implementation for nonprofits and government affiliated organizations. In addition Erica serves as an elearning consultant for various non-profit organizations in South Africa, Kenya and Ghana.

With over 20 visits to South Africa, Dr. Bass-Flimmons is an international development consultant who serves as senior Director for all projects and trips. Additionally, she serves as a tour guide. Erica conducts research in Africa as it relates to mobile health education for adults in rural settings as well as education for STEM teachers in low-resource settings. Erica serves as a STEM and mhealth international strategic partnership consultant for various non-profit organizations in South Africa and Ghana, aside from South Africa Dr. Flimmons has traveled to Ghana, Kenya, Zambia and Ethiopia.
