During her presidency at the Ghana Council of Georgia, Yvonne collaborated with various government entities, including the Governor's office and the Atlanta Mayor's office.   On a broader scale, Yvonne's leadership roles in the GaDangme Society, including Vice President and President positions for GaDangme International (GDI), have significantly contributed to the organization's growth and impact. GDI includes GaDangme organizations across the U.S. and Canada. Originally from Accra, Ghana, Yvonne's journey to her current leadership roles is a testament to her determination and resilience. She completed her early education at Ann’s Preparatory before moving to the U.S., where she finished high school in Rockville, Maryland. She obtained a degree in Business Management from Montgomery College and furthered her studies in Marketing at Southeast London College in the U.K. Yvonne now resides in Duluth, Georgia, and is a mother to two daughters, Susie and Doris.
